A new year - another try!!!

So, this blogging business hasn't gone too well. I so wanted to share my love of making things and then life gets in the way!
Shopping, children, doctors appointments, you're getting the drift aren't you?
So as we start a new year I'm going to start doing this blog from a different angle!
So what was I doing In between my life stuff?  (not the blog that's for sure).
I was indeed tinkering, but not my own creations I found. I was inspired - constantly - by that wonderful world that is Pinterest. It's amazing how you can become absorbed by what other people are creating. So I found myself sitting waiting for my gastroenterologist pinning '100 things to make with pallets' or waiting for blood tests and pinning '50 useful things to do with a plastic cup' - I made that one up!
And then I had my lightbulb moment, that's what I should share - what I find on Pinterest and I should try out all these fascinating ideas.
Do they work?
Can I really build a man cave for the husband from pallets I find in the car park of the local industrial estate?
Who knows, but I'm going to try them out. (Maybe start with a smaller project than a man cave).
And.......I've finally worked out when I can write the blog - where I am this very second, sitting outside my daughters school waiting for home time. I have a spare fourty five minutes every day, which up to now I've just sat and watched the robbin from the allotments hop about. The occasional allotment resident pop in to tend the soil. (This I am assuming, because it's -1 outside at the moment and I'm sure there is nothing growing in there). And then of course the onslaught of mums trudging to the school gates to collect their little darlings.
So welcome (again) to my world, my Pinterest world that is!
